Configure a local filesystem target

Configure a local filesystem as a target using either the UI or the CLI.

UI

Configure a local filesystem as a target with the UI

To add a local target filesystem from your Dashboard:

1. Select the relevant product from the Products panel.
2. In the Overview page under Filesystems, select Add target filesystem.
3. Select Local Filesystem as Filesystem Type.
4. Enter a Display Name for the target.
5. Enter a Mount Point. This is the directory in the local filesystem to use as the target filesystem.
6. Select Save.

CLI

Configure a local filesystem as a target with the CLI

You can define multiple target filesystems to which you can migrate simultaneously. For more information about creating a local filesystem target using the CLI, see below:
