Usage

The Usage page in the UI gives you an overview of different Data Migrator migrators you have deployed.

info

The Usage graph differs from the Bandwidth Usage graph.

The Bandwidth Usage graph shows the number of bits/second transferred over time for a migrator. This graph is updated every 3 seconds.

The Usage graph shows the total amount of data migrated in the selected calendar month. The graph is updated every 6 hours or less frequently so the data displayed here is behind that shown in the total allotted network bandwidth usage.

To see more information about an individual migrator, select one from your list in the Product Details panel.

For more information on data limits and expiry dates, see the Licensing section of the guide.

Track data consumption

To view how much live and static data you’ve migrated, select a data duration to display metrics:

  • For up to one month
  • Graphed day by day
  • Visualized by Data Migrator instance

Static data is migrated from initial content scan or rescan of source file system with no real-time event notifications. It refers to data migrated in one-time and recurring migrations and data migrated as a result of the initial scan of the source file system in live migrations.

Live data is migrated as a result of Data Migrator receiving real-time event notifications from the source file system. It refers to any data migrated in live migrations after the initial scan on the source file system.
