ADLS Gen2 source filesystem

Data Migrator supports migrations from Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Gen2 as a source. It is a preview feature and is automatically enabled.

ADLS Gen2 as a source filesystem

Data Migrator supports ADLS Gen2 as a source filesystem, but only for one-time migrations at this time.

Add ADLS Gen2 as a source with the UI

To configure ADLS Gen2 as a source filesystem, select Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Gen2 in the Filesystem Type dropdown menu when configuring filesystems with the UI.

Add ADLS Gen2 as a source with the CLI

Enter the --source parameter in the filesystem add adls2 oauth or filesystem add adls2 sharedkey command.
